When you take a photo, a lot of information is attached to that photo – what type of camera you used, where the photo was taken, even if the flash was used or not. When you post photos online or you share photos with others, you may not want them to be able to access all this private information. And that’s where Jpeg Scrubber comes in – it can batch process JPEG images, remove the aforementioned private information, and reduce the size of the images. Everything is done at a rapid pace, via a very simple interface.

The Jpeg Scrubber installer is about 2MB in size, which is quite lightweight. Getting such a small file off the web and onto your computer will not take a long time. The same can be said about installing Jpeg Scrubber on your Windows-powered machine. Just run the installer and a few clicks later you will be done with the process.

The main panel of the application’s interface lists the JPEG images you loaded into Jpeg Scrubber. Above this panel there’s a toolbar with buttons for adding JPEG images, adding a folder with JPEG images, launching the cleaning process, viewing the report, and accessing the application’s Options menu. Way at the top there’s a traditional File Menu. So, overall, it is a very easy to figure out interface.

Using Jpeg Scrubber is a very simple 3-step process:
Step 1 – load JPEG images into the application. You can simply drag and drop images on the interface, you can use the Add Jpeg option, or you can use the Add Folder of Jpegs option.
Step 2 – from the Options menu, choose the output location (all cleaned JPEG images will be stored in this folder).
Step 3 – click the Clean button and let Jpeg Scrubber do its job. In little time the application will remove all private information and reduce the size of the loaded JPEG files.

Jpeg Scrubber is not free, it is only free to try. The 30-day trial will not clean all the JPEG images you load and will present a registration reminder every time you launch the application.

Easily and efficiently Scrub JPEG images clean of all private information with Jpeg Scrubber.

Pros

Downloading and installing Jpeg Scrubber takes little time. The simple interface is very easy to use. Load any JPEG images you want and the application will remove all the private information attached to those images; it will also reduce the size of those images. The application can create summary or full reports.

Cons

30-day trial; the trial does not clean all the images you loaded; nag screen.
